My proofreading, editing and writing services cost less than
the most expensive, and more than the least expensive, that
are available. Before you pay less, though, be sure you'll
be getting the level of service you need.

Please
note that if your e-mail looks like spam, I'll delete it, immediately,
without opening it. Do not change the subject line.
Provide
your name, a valid e-mail address (no free e-mail accounts,
please) and your Web site URL. State briefly the service or
services you need and the specific page URLs on your Web site
to which the service or services will apply.
Barring
unforeseen circumstances, I'll acknowledge your initial contact
by return e-mail, usually within twelve hours. I'll probably
ask you to provide more details about your project.
I'll
compile a detailed written estimate and e-mail you a quote,
free of charge or obligation. This may take a day, or two, depending
on the size of your project. A free
quote includes an itemized list of charges and an estimated
time for completion.
Client
Involvement
When
you become my client, you're invited to participate in the planning
and development stages of your project. Detailed information
on your overall vision of what you want to accomplish, your
short-term and long-term goals, your project-related thoughts
and ideas, and your expectations will provide valuable insights
and help bring your project to a successful conclusion in the
shortest possible time. By working together we can achieve the
results you desire.
Ordering
If
you want to hire my writing, editing, proofreading, critiquing
or design services for your Web pages, e-newsletter, e-zine,
e-book or blog, send me a brief e-mail confirming your intentions.
I'll send you a PayPal money request and, when I receive PayPal's
confirmation e-mail that the requested funds have been deposited
to my account, I'll begin work on your project. Contact Phil

Payments
PayPal
processes all on-line payments for services rendered.
All
projects that cost less than $1,000.00 require a 50% deposit
before I begin the project, and the balance paid before I deliver
the completed project to you.
For
projects costing more than $1,000.00, payment of a $500.00 retainer
fee will suffice. I can bill you separately for individual parts
of the project and return them to you when I've received payment
for them, or I can bill you one time, when the entire project
is completed.
Clients
located in the Portland, Oregon, area have the options to pay
with cash, personal check, company check, certified check or
money order.
Clients
located in all other areas of the world have the options of
paying by PayPal, certified check or money order. All payments
must be made in U.S. funds, and all are subject to bank verification.
Payments made through PayPal get the quickest results.
Delivery
I can deliver the finished work to you
by one of several methods; you choose what works best for you.
An MS Word document (attachment) is one option, but you can
copy & paste from a page on my Web site, or I can FTP directly
to a Web page on yours. Other options are available. Whichever
method you choose, my job isn't finished until perfect text
resides on your Web page(s). If another method would work better
for you let me know. Part of my job is to make your job easier.
Basic
Rates
Because
every Web site is different than every other, and every Web
page has its own problems and its own requirements, it's not
possible for me to offer a "one size fits all" pricing
structure. Therefore, all writing, proofreading, editing, critiquing
or design services require estimates
(free), as no two jobs are alike.
